I'm so sorry for your losses Gael. 😔 Can't even imagine how it must've felt to deal with them all at the same time. Losing a pet is like losing a family member. When I lost my cat some years ago, the grief was very real and it took time to heal. Nowadays I'm very grateful the memories and what he taught me of myself as a person. Pets really do have that effect on us and we're so lucky to be able to have them for that limited amount of time. Then bond you two had seems amazing. You were lucky to find each other. Thank you for sharing this update with us. I know it's not always easy to open up about these kinds of things, especially to people you don't really know, but I hope you know that all of us care for you a lot and only wish you the best in life! Everyone deals with grief their in their own way and no one should ever tell you that your way is wrong (unless it's directly harmful for your health of course). I'll keep you and Bobby in my thoughts and sending you all of my warmest hugs and well wishes. Take all the time you need. 🙏❤️

I get what you mean. When my dog Bella passed, I wasn’t able to grieve right away because I had work and training to do. So it was late before I could take some time and by then I’d shoved it away. So I had to find a really beautiful rainbow bridge song to give me the chance to mourn. I’m glad you’re doing better and you’ve had the chance to let your emotions get settled. Aw love. It's amazing what an impact an animal friend can make. I understand. My Leia used to comfort me when I was sick. She'd stay by my side with her head upon my shoulder and she was wonderful company when I was lonley. It's better to have memories of ones who loved us then to not love at all. My great grandfather passed recently. I have been in a funk also so believe me when we say we understand g. Sometimes you have to take time for healing and that's okay. Youre wonderful and have such a fun positive enerdree ;) much love and many big hugs. <3

I remember him breaking up branches into little sticks so you could throw them for him and then getting you all wet when he jumped into the water ❤ The special bond you two had could be felt. Take care G, he had a beautiful life with you and I’m sure he was just as grateful to have you in his life as you are for him ♥️ I never had a pet dog, but I was extremely close to a stray who we named ‘Tipsy’ - I don’t recall why 🙈, she passed away recently and it was heartbreaking because I had some really good moments with her 😔

I'm so sorry, Gael! I know you have your own way with dealing with things, but I still want to send you lots of love and good thoughts!💔 🤗 I remember when my dog died, I was completely heartbroken. I got him when I was a kid and he was a real character, such a funny little guy (and he'd actually hold grudges forever 😂 not against me or anyone from "his" family, but other people and other dogs, too). It's so lovely that you took him in and gave him the best life possible! And thank you for introducing him to us and letting him be a part of this beautiful community! It’s true when they say pets are humanizing. They remind us we have an obligation and responsibility to preserve and nurture and care for all life. I saw this bumper sticker once that said ‘who rescued who?’ with a little paw print next to the thought bubble. I don’t think I’ve resonated with a bumper sticker ever in my life, but this one stopped me in my tracks. We need these lil fur frens more than they need us sometimes. There’s so much to learn from them, about ourselves and the natural way of things. And you’re right, they are simple minded. Think about it, have you ever seen a mouse need therapy after being chased by a cat? Like yeah, they get shaken up, but they move on. They move with time. Humans spend their entire lives trying to reach this state when our buddies got it down since the beginning (and they didn’t need books, classes, or podcasts lol.) I’m sorry you’ve experienced so much loss and pain in such a short time. You gave your friend from work laughter and good company. You gave Bobby the best life you could give him. And at the end of the day, that’s all anyone want from us. A little bit of our hearts. Thank you for sharing Bobby with us. He lived his best happy Lil bobbers life, running through the grass and swimming in mud. He had it all and more 😌 Sending you all the love and all the healing magic to you, mi amigo 🌱💖

Gael, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have been told and believe that animals enter your life at the exact time you need them. They find you. They are with you to teach you 'lessons' and support you. When you have learned the lessons and they have done their job for you, they move on to their next journey. I am now listening to the audio and I want to say I am also an introvert. I like to isolate myself and deal with things on my own, however, most of the times it is not healthy, as I deal with depression and suicidal thoughts constantly, so isolating myself does me more harm than good as I am alone with my thoughts, and it can be a very dark and scary place to be. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to lose someone, it is my biggest fear that I have been waiting for since a child, because I know it will happen eventually. I can relate SO much on how dogs just know us, and the strong bond we have with them, where we just know what they are telling us! It happens to me with my brother's dog, he gives me signs and I know what he is saying, I give him signs and he understands me! I also know what you mean by being in a weird place but having to put on a face and deal with the day and not allow yourself to focus on what happened, it is not pretty or easy/comfortable to do. But I want you to know that you are very brave to express yourself with all of us here. Do not isolate yourself too much, remember that you are not alone and that you are loved. ❤️ Even Bobby will be watching, protecting and loving you from heaven. I send you my love, kisses, hugs, healing and support your way. ❤️❤️❤️

Aww, Gael I'm sorry to hear about your dog and the friend you met. I understand the feeling of losing a pet. Take the time you need to grieve and process.♥️ If there are any pet loss support groups in your area try to check them out. You don't have to talk much but being with others who are going through a similar experience might be helpful. I attended a support group with a therapist in my area after I lost my bunny 3 years ago. I just lost my 2 dogs last week because of parvo virus. I was devastated that I cry in my work everyday. And I just listen to your "all dogs go to heaven" audio to ease the pain and I'm very much thankful to you. Now that you lost Bobbie, I know he's with my dogs in heaven happily playing. I lost my first dog very violently and it haunted our family (especially my daughter) for years. Take really good care of yourself and remember...this was not “just a dog,” but a member of your family. The grieving process will be that important. Much love. 💜💜

I know im a bit late commenting on this but im so sorry to hear about your loss.. Ive grown up with dogs and i know how it feels when its their time to go, it soul crushing. After i loss my 2 dogs a few years ago due to age i felt so lost. My family struggled on deciding on having another dog and i have to admit, for the first time in my life i didnt have a dog i felt lost and just constantly felt the joy at our home gone. But now we have a lovely rescue big boy and i feel complete again. Pets are amazing and can do wonders for ones mental health. And your friend as well, again im so sorry for your loss, all this within weeks of eachother i cant imagine the emotions your going through 😢 . Take it easy, look after yourself and try and get plently of rest 💜

So sorry for your loss dear G. To be dealing with an injury and the loss of a friend, and then to lose a pet (an emotional support) on top of it is really tough! I went through a similar situation and definitely understand the need to slow down, as you said. Loss is strange. Bit by bit and day by day it gets better, but sometimes it still hits you at random moments, so know we are here for you if ever you need.

So sorry for your loss 💔🐶🙏🏻I loved seeing Bobby in your vlogs.I know the feeling I’ve been there. I had to put my 14 yr old dog down 10 years ago from a stroke. One of the worst days of my life..It took me a long time to grieve her and i still miss her to this day. I tend to think too far ahead because I have this insane need to be prepared for what is to come and have feared the day it happens in our home. I don’t mean to turn it around here. My deepest sympathies. My dog died three years ago, and then on the exact anniversary this year, my family dog had to be put down. It's tough to heal from.

Oh G I'm just hearing this now. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my cat of 18 years two months ago and like your dog she was always there for me through so much. I feel your pain. I'm relatively new here, and I haven't made a comment before today, but this subject hits close to home. Earlier this year, we had to make the hard decision to let go of our family dog, Penny. We had her in our lives for fourteen years, and she was an amazing source of joy and strength. When my dad passed away, she was a rock for my mother, and in the years that followed, as her children moved out and Mom began a new chapter in her life, Penny was never far from her side. It was so hard to let her go, but it's easier now knowing that wherever our beloved pets go when they leave us, they never forget the ones that loved them. My heart goes out to you. 💙

OMG...I just found this and am so very sorry to hear about Bobby. He will be waiting for you on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. Our fur babies are just as important as our "real" children. We lost one of our 3 cats the beginning of Sept. of 2018. We still have 2 cat and 2 dogs but Hermie was very special. As for your co-worker, I'm sorry for the loss of him as well. Sending hugs...it takes a while to adapt to the losses.
