How are ye?

Are ya feelin the spooky Halloween spirits these days?  Are we spicing our pumpkins?

Had a lovely walk with Bobby who is still a force of nature despite his deafness.  

The weather is perfect for walks but I'm looking forward to colder weather that keeps all the noisy seagulls and people away in their nests so I can record!

Heyoo Florguson! It’s like, the utter opposite to pumpkin spice weather in every way here but we know that it’s all expected etc etc. But I’m still adjusting to the humidity and the lack of the four seasons in my new hidey hole, I’m pretty much on the cusp between tropical and subtropical so there are still technically four seasons but they’re more like summer, summer, autumn, spring for one week, then summer 😅 Regardless of the heat though, this bay celebrates anything it possibly can including unofficial holidays so there are a lot of serial killer mannequins set up in people’s front yards and it makes for an innnteresting vibe! 😂 apparently I live a block away from Jason Voorhees isn’t that nice??? Congrats to the PA winners!!!

AAAHHHHH you have a deaf dog too! My great pyrenees Flapjack is deaf! Hes like 115 pounds of fluff but he is the sweetest thing! He loves to cuddle and slobber everywhere but he loves to hike and is the best travel buddy. I'm bringing him to Ohio with me next month and I'm sure hes gonna love the country.

XD it has been hard resisting pumpkin spiced everything. The weather here is weird, it’s like it dropped into winter and skipped fall here the past few days. Today it’s rather nice though. : ) hope everyone has an amazing day!

Despite the fact my cat - Fouyille💛 who's the oldest actually - is sleeping all day and my two little ones are making a huge mess in the house when they are together, (these lil' fiends are full of enedree I'm telling ya ...) All is good in the hood! The weather is fine yet it gets a little bit colder at night here ...usually people have deadly COLDS at this time of the year ( I see it, I see them coming 🤧) so I am gonna do what it takes to reinforce my immune system 🍊🍋🍍🥝🍊🍋🍅 and turn into a professional germaphobe soon . ...and I am looking forward to my new vampire teeth so I can bite into someone's neck at midnight. What Becks said ☝🏻 Pumpkin Spice weather in Boston quickly turns into Five Feet of Snow weather. I’m all for a good snowstorm, but even I have my limit. ☺️ So glad Bobby is well. Congrats ladies! I haven't been spicing any pumpkins but a did roast 4 whole ones in preparation for the holiday pies ( I make a deadly pumpkin pie). I get to dress up all week as it's Red Ribbon Week at school, Just Say No To Drugs kids, today I get to wear PJ's. The cooler weather is still a bit aways for us, doesn't really take effect until the beginning of November, but it'll be grand when it does. I get to get a new car this week (mine finally went wheels up at 167,000 miles) my retired car salesman dad is super excited for the haggle showdown. Haha! It's all good though as I've been saving up, I'd hoped to push it until next year, but it was not to be. I had the car for 10 years so that's 8 years of no car payments, not too shabby. Hope ye and all y'all of the lovelies are doing well. I look forward to reading the ketchup when I have time.

I'm doing fine. Just got to work and ready to get things done. I'm ready for Halloween. Gonna bake Barmbrack for sure.. Since the time you shared the Barmbrack thingie and I've been baking it since and my family and friends love it and they wait for it every Halloween to have it. They call it Loly's Tea Cake lol.. It's going to be a laid-back Halloween this year, a little dressing up but mostly trying to relax. Trying to walk more, but fall doesn't seem to be lasting long here - straight to chilly weather and lots of rain. Not too Halloweenie feeling yet, but I am getting well in to baking season 😊... took some fan favorites to work last week, which were a big hit, as usual... next I'm gonna try some fancy sugar cookie decorating with maybe some fall flavored cookies and icing... we'll see what kind of disaster that turns out to be!... also gonna try Karen's apple cake closer to Thanksgiving 😁... weather-wise - we're gettin' there... had a couple warm days last week, but the temperature has dropped significantly overall... it's also been nice and stormy, which I LOVE!... anyway - congrats, ladies, and everyone gave a great week! 🤗

We’re having weeks of rain and an upcoming flood in my neck of the woods, in addition to the much cooler weather. My Shepherd, Doc, loves the cool, but is a huge baby about puddles. He has precious puppy toes, apparently. He’ll bark and jump vertically to catch rain coming off the roof, which is funny until you’re out with him and realize that he’s 125 pounds and immensely long and he’s jumping at head height and because he’s a big goof, he’s about to land on you. But the cool weather let me do my first 5k run yesterday, so all is relatively good.

I just got off work, and didn't get a wink of sleep last night (that may have been said spooks at work 😯), so I'm about to sip on some hot tea and take a short nap. The weather is getting colder over here, and I'm loving it! I'm donning the sweaters like you ordered, good sir 😊 Speaking of pups, my German Shepherd, Sam, has been a bit hyper lately. He even chased after a squirrel yesterday, and he hardly ever does that o.o

Congratulations, ladies! You are certainly in for a lovely time. Fall is coming in with a vengeance in Virginia. The trees are just starting to turn a little, and the air is crisp. It's homecoming week at the high school where I teach, so it's a crazy week of dress up days, competition, football, pep rallies, and our annual dance. It's fun for the students and even the adults who get to dress up and participate, too. I am so happy to hear that our boi Bobby is doing well and is as sprightly as ever. Amazing how our pups love the cold weather -- my goldendoodle Sammi refuses to come in, preferring to just sit in the cool air and play in the leaves. What a wonderful time of year! Congrats ladies! You're in for a spectacular treat! Here in Colorado we're bracing for the 2nd snowfall in the metro area. It's cold and gray. So trick or treaters will be wearing coats tomorrow night. I don't think that's going to stop them though.
