This was actually rather intriguing and held my attention as well as somehow allowed me to suspend my disbelief to a perfect 't.' I say this because I am not a petite woman in the slightest (5' 10 or 1.78 meters) and I'm broadly built. But, coming from the mouth of your character, I could believe I was smaller- delicate. It was an interesting feeling to have been able to imagine such a thing- especially since I've always been likened to a man in size and stature. Outside of that, however, the work in this is spectacular and your tone- the inflection in which you say some words... It casts a picture in my mind that swallowed me whole. I will admit that I would listen to an entire audio book of this story, with no problem at all. To be honest I would probably buy a readable book of this, provided it was written in the same style. I'm rambling, though, and... yea. So, very good job Gael- well done and certainly has me waiting with bated breath for more.

Even though her slumber will soon be over, Vampire Gael's longing for his beloved to awaken is palpable. It's intoxicating to listen to. This is wonderfully written and beautifully performed, and I'm overjoyed that you're going to treat us to more of this saga. I love it.😍❤

Wonderful! I love vampire Gael! The music was great background to the story. The words had me hanging on to see what would happen next. I got chills several times. I've always loved reading and watching stories about vampires. Gael's voice and the way he speaks in this audio was the perfect sexy but scary vampire. I'd definitely want immortality beside him. Wow!

Dat production value, tho. The transition between the vigil and the memory was subtle and wonderfully pitched, and the use of romantic vs horrific themes under the vocals worked really well. What a way to spend Halloween!

You wax poetic as you watch her life drain...Beautiful? Yes! Selfish? Devilishly, so. No permission given. No choice made. No peace. No end...Until it is introduced by way of stake hewn from the tried wood of the Yew tree, slowly petrifying next to Maynooth Castle. The only known substance capable of utterly destroying a being as old and as powerful as yourself. As you gaze upon the female mutating into a fiend before your eyes, I observe the look on your face and it gives me pause. Your anticipation is not one of carnality...of wantoness...it's...love. You made her, not out of physical need, but of a longing for companionship...in no way like the others I've seen you turn and I later destroyed. What makes this one worth going through the trouble of teaching, babysitting, feeding?...No matter...if she interferes, she, too, will suffer the same fate. Your reign over the prurient natures of these women will soon come to an end. I will no longer stand aside and witness the downfall of my fellow sisters. Your time has come. I holster my cross bow, place my scope back it it's case. I turn from my post atop the building, three blocks away from the vampire's domicile. My reconnaissance now over, I go back to report to base. ***Sorry I had to play Devils advocate here***

This was beautifully written - the language of this script was incredible - and really well delivered! 👏🏼 I also loved the vigil setting, where you get some sense of the soft-spot and tender side of this ultimate sexy 'bad boy'. Damn, I'm a sucker for a good love story ❤️☺️❤️

So after many many hours and a lot of stuff, I can finally write my lil review about this most recent piece. First of all: I woke up at 2am from an Apocalypse dream, and I saw you finally posted the audio! Great! So I've listened, and then went back to sleep, because even though the 1st of November is a holiday here (All Saint's Day), pastry shops are open, and I had to work today. The first shock of the day came when my phone died. Let me remind you it was a holiday, and nothing was open, except us and the cemeteries... It was working one minute, then nothing. Half an hour or more panicky state of mind. Then, like Franken Foxie's little Franken Phone - it was alive! Still working, thanks god. I was so ready to write my comment then, but people haven't stopped coming in. (So for a looong moment, I felt like Gael with his dying laptop. By the way, G, please be sure you save all the scraps and mini audios, because I can't do archaeology if you lose them all ;P) Then this guy came in - he's an actor and/or a director and said he needs a cake for their opening night. It's called "Let Me In" and it's a vampire themed play, so he wanted a cake like that. You can guess my stupid smling face when I thought about Bloodlust after that. So finally, the audio: I'm well-listened in your work (cough), so I know your other vampire stuff too. But this series here is already a true masterpiece, and I can't wait to hear the rest, and then see all of it turning into an audiobook. I love all the little details - how the music follows the storyline, how the Bloodlust music theme (or something very similar) comes back in this insallment and ties it to the first part. How there's always a past and present line in the story; it slowly unfolds and you learn so much more about the characters, how you learn bits about their own stories that then ties together. How there is a human side to the character, something that we know well from your other audios, how he feels for the girl. Love that vampire Gael is a bit cheeky, but also so loving. How he is a monster, but also a human. And the storytelling is SUPERBBB! Seriously, I've hearned many MANY stuff from you, but this is excellent. I love how far you have come in terms of voice acting. You can play with your voice in such an amazing way that I'm speechless. It's storytelling, but it's also a character talking, thinking, feeling. Wow. A+ It did feel a small bit cut off, but we all know the details about how your laptop was acting up, so please, save the poor machine first. And when you finally turn this into an audiobook, you can release the best versions of these! Not that this one wasn't perfect, but there is always room for improvement! ;P

That was so good! I only just got a chance to listen (and I haven't read through the other comments, so forgive me if this ends up sounding like all the others.) Honestly this was gorgeous. I LOVE all the music... that was the original theme from the first installment, right? I am a huge movie score nerd and when a composer uses themes like you did with this one, using it again and again for the same character, it brings such a sense of cohesiveness and really feels like another aspect of the character. Excellent stort, I hope you make many more. I love learning about the characters back story and this one did not disappoint. OH... and then there's the writing. I love love love when you bring out the very formal, high romantic word and phrasing choices for this character. It is absolutely delicious. ❤
