Small projects dec 2022 (Patreon)

I just finished out a week working for the ballet on The Nutcracker. It's always a lot of work and a lot of love. I've been doing little crafts here and there this month. Thinking about my yule card. I made some buttons and beads out of polymer clay, and made my first earrings. Recycled some socks the elastic blew out in.

I made my first sock monkey when I was 7 or 8 years old, I remember looking up instructions on netscape and waiting for the reference images to load line-by-line. My mom used to make snowmen and beads out of fimo clay with me when I was even wee-er. I suppose these are comfort crafts. Before everything became so scary. Do you have crafts that remind you of your simple joys?
