I've tied hands a bit with more middle-term projects than I'm used to. I'm still figuring out how to practice discipline to keep things moving even when the creative inertia feels insurmountable. I think it's ok to drop the bar if you're having trouble getting over it, and it's ok to forgo the bar metaphor all together and just wander around in your ideas without fear of tripping over your own expectations. My goal has been 100 words a day of writing toward a 4000 word short story (you know, the one where the old lady does dmt in a graveyard and fights a demon with a rock or whatever -- patrons have access to the *outline*), but realistically I'm writing about 200 words every 5 days or so. Fighting the habit to edit as I write is paralyzing sometimes, but I do feel like it's getting easier. My other middle-term project is a time lapse of a mask making process (sort of a "how do I use this camera again?" assignment for myself since I found my dslr this Fall). That project was cruising until I ran out of flour, hehe. It is the season of one more thing.

Outside of project land this month, I have been really digging into the meat of both Nioh 2 and Persona 5 when my brain needs a break (which is a lot these days), working that day job, solidifying my 3 ball cascade, and doing 7/10 pretty good at keeping up with my dishes. I am looking forward to popping out on the other side of this foggy winter transition. I always feel a little slower and heavier in November. Stay warm, my friends. A sooner-than-later experiment in time lapse technology and another juggling video are on the horizon.
