As usual, being a preliminary edit, it uses the computer voice so i can adjust the timings. I'll dub in my own voice once the script is finalized.

i went through the archives and found this unfinished video. I tried my best to put it together, but it's clear some parts are missing. Let me know if you think its still good enough to publish. Do i need to expand the explanation of the Nafion ionomer more?

I was going to put the synthesis of sodium hydroxide using the membrane cell in a different video. But after watching this one, i feel it might be better putting them together. What do you guys think?

Perhaps some incidental information on what can/ cannot be done with this particular membrane and make another video on the actual use. I’m good with paying again. Maybe add a higher level membership to help with the costs involved.

Great subject material, can you provide information about how to best handle current density, temperature or anything which affects the membrane's service life? Maybe even explain how crosslinking pva compairs. Q&a or labnotes style works. I like those videos the best.

thanks for the suggestions! as for paying more, you can set the pledge amount directly. But don't feel obligated, my finances are strong. The bigger problem is finding the mental will to move forward. That's entirely on me. But your kind words help a lot :)

hmm... good questions. i'll see what i can do. For amateurs though, unless you're really stressing the membrane with high currents (like amps per square centimeter), the membrane can take a lot of abuse, the electrodes themselves are usually the weaker link. i'll see what i can do.
