There seems to be a problem with the subtitles for the first four minutes of the video: some sentence about palladium on carbon keeps sticking in the subtitles all that time.

About the Urushibara catalyst: I was reading recently the Urushibara papers from the 1960s and the Hato book from 1971, they mention in several places that 10% or even more contamination with ZnO of the initial zinc powder did not affect at all the activity of the final catalyst. For all we know you've got perfectly good Urushibara intermediate there.
