Ice Cream Update

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!!!


This update is all about ice cream! You will need the pack "Cool Kitchen Stuff" for the new recipes added with this update.

There is a total of 44 new recipes for custom milkshakes. These include all of the EA ice cream flavors in milkshake form. 

There are 2 ways to get these shakes in game. You can get the from the fridge as a quick snack under "Make Custom > Drinks > Dessert" and also from the ice cream carton for each flavor.



There is also a total of 11 new recipes for ice cream. You will be able to make these new recipes on the "Cool Kitchen Stuff" ice cream maker. 



Each carton (EA and custom) will have the following options when choosing which ice cream you want.

This update was mostly to fix small bugs and to add these new ice cream additions. If you want to know about the other changes made this update stop by the changelog listed at the top of this page. 


Update 4.2.0 to update 4.2.1

+ Added the missing EA Recipes override for SP05, missed it when uploading.

Update 4.2.1 to update 4.2.2

/ Fixed an issue with single ingredients causing an LE when being being "livedrag" to the world/fridge/storage. You should no longer get an last exception when dragging ingredients around. 


How to update

  • 1. Delete all of the old SCCO files you have installed.
  • 2. Download and unzip the new files. 
  • 3. Install the new files as per the SCCO install guide at the top of this page.
  • 4. Clear your game cache fully.

Hi SrslySims, Firstly want to say thank you for all your hard work..I love your mods. Secondly, should not the number be 4.2.0 instead of 2.4.0? I was making myself crazy LOL reading as to why to number changed so drastically when it hit me, oooh the numbers are probably incorrect. Is that so?

Hello Srslysims ;) First of all I hope you are fine and healthy. Thanks for this new update but I have with this version a big big problem: I can no longer see any ingredients for any of the dishes. For example: If I try to make bread I see only 0/1, 01 and so on but I can't see the the ingredients required. If I remove your mod all is correct. I tried it without any other cooking mods like "IceMunMun" her recipes and her The Food Group Custom Drinks / Food Interaction and also deleted the recipes from "ONI". If I delete your mod and play only with IceMunMun and/or ONI everthing is ok. Can you pls. help? Lovely regards from Austria

I dont have this issue in my game. Make sure you do not have any files that override EA. Then test with SCCO alone and start adding back your other cooking mods 1 by 1. I am unsure if someone added something recently that is incompatible, I doubt it but idk. In my game I see all ingredients for dishes. If you need more help please come by the discord.

Sorry if I missed it, but I didn't see it in the changelog. The crab and lobster aren't showing up for me anymore and the recipes I have that use them no longer show them as an ingredient. Did these get taken out?

Humm. I moved some files around including these and I don't remember off the top of my head what package they are it I believe it's in ea recipes bg. Let me check this when I get home, I made have made a mistake when moving files around before the merge.

So what I had to do was remove the Patreon download and downloaded the mod off the website. My game starts now.

Should be no reason to use the old version. You most likely have something installed not compatible with the newest update. To find out you would need to test the mod alone, clear cache, and check it on a new save with nothing else installed as stated in discord. Then from that point 50/50 what you have installed with the mod. As I can confirm there are no game breaking issues with this newest version of the mod.

Hi Srsly, I thought I saw you comment about this already, but I could not find the original comment. I am getting LEs when I try to open some packages and then transfer using LittleMsSam xfer mod. I had issues with the coffee beans (maybe 2 or 3 types) Some will open after I try a couple of times, but it gives me an LE, I use Better Exceptions. I also got an LE when trying to xfer eggs that were in my fridge to my inventory (I wanted to sell them). I know that I have always opened packages in the past then xferred to the fridge, but the coffee is giving me issues. Thanks

I'm on it! There should be an update later today to fix this issue. Sadly it took me a while to find the issue since I was unable to get any of these LEs. If you ever have issues come by the discord and share your LE's they really help me. :) Be on the lookout for todays update to fix this issue.

LMS transfer inventory mod isnt working on single items anymore for some reason. I am working on trying to find out why this is happening. This is a known bug still being worked on.

There will be an update coming later today to fix the LE's with LiveDrag on SCCO ingredients. Please keep an eye out for this update. Those of you that have issues in the future please come by the discord to share your LE's this really helps me resolve issues faster. Since sometimes like this error, I could not replicate on my end and it took looking at various users LE's to help me fix it. :)

So i found out this mod has been giving my family an error and wont allow me to play with them once i have 3 kids im not sure why does this mod clash with any other food mods? or any mods in general?

You can find the compatibility information on the main download page for the mod. But no it doesn't conflict with much, except things that override EA recipes or menus. You can find a list of things I know that are not compatible in my discord under #scco_faq. Please come by the discord for assistance and be sure that you updated to version 4.2.2 that was released today and cleared your game cache.

SCCO has been updated to version 4.2.2 to fix any "livedrag" issues and issues with ingredients not being able to be placed in the world/inventories. Please update to the newest version and clear your game cache fully.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I wanted to come to your Discord, but I had issues logging into Discord and going into any channels I follow, otherwise, I would have uploaded my LEs for you. I got my Discord fixed now and if I have LEs in the future, I will def upload them. This is my favorite mod in all of Sims and I use a lot of mods. I've supported this mod even for months when I could not play the game because of a physical injury, so now that I have been playing, SCCO has really enhanced the farming gameplay for me. I'll do anything I can to help to support you and your mods, they truly change my game.

Hi. I Have a problem. If my sim wants to go to the store, there is no option to go to the market for vegetables and herbs. On the phone or on the computer, neither can he.

Sounds like you have something incompatible installed or using a custom computer that is not compatible. The phone option is Cottage Living required now and found now under phone > services > Order a delivery > grocery delivery. As for the computer (be sure to check an EA one) should be Shop For > Groceries > pick the menu. If you still have issues try testing with just SCCO alone on a new save or you can come by the discord for more help. But I can confirm both of these options are available on both Phone and Computer.

I click on my sim and I have no option to go to the market and buy vegetables, fruits and herbs, the last one works. There is only an option to go to the store.

Sounds like you maybe installed incorrectly. Be sure you installed the same way as the install guide at the top of the post. If you don't see the menu at all then your scripts are too many folders deep in your mods folder or script mods are disabled in your game.

i did but the egg isnt recognizing the egg from ur mod it only sees the single eggs from cottage living the customis from ONI and some of her ingredients dont recognized ur ingredients

Alrighty. Well I am having issues with some ingredients so this might be the case. I would need an example of an oni recipe not working so I can check it specifically. But the next update that is coming in 2 days will have 100% remade ingredients so this should fix issues. Some creators may have to update things depending on if they are using scco "Any ingredient" type tags or the direct item as things that call for a direct item and not a tag will be affected.
