Snowy Escape - Expanded Recipes

Lazy EA added a few new recipes, but they were Single Serving (1) only. I have added Family (4) and Party (8) serving sizes for the following recipes.

  • Chicken Yakitori
  • Beef Ramen
  • Egg Ramen 
  • Miso Ramen
  • Seaweed Ramen


Snowy Escape - EA Ingredient Overhaul

I have added new ingredient requirements to all of the new Snowy Escape foods based on their real-life ingredients! 


Snowy Escape - New Cookbook

I have added a new cookbook that will teach you how to cook all of the new "Snowy Escape" recipes without having to reach the unlock requirements! 

Just like all Cookbooks, you can buy it from the "Buy Cookbooks" menu on any bookshelf. Cookbooks will be delivered directly to your sims inventory. 


New Ingredient - Seaweed

A lot of the new recipes for Snowy Escape in real life call for Seaweed to create them. So I have added a new "Seaweed" harvestable to the game. 

There are a few ways you can get seaweed:

  • Grocery Shopping - Buy Fruits, Veggies, and Herbs
  • Seaweed Pile Interaction - All of the randomly generated seaweed piles from Cats and Dogs and Island Living will have a "Collect Seaweed" interaction.
  • Fishing Spot Interaction - All fishing spots in the game have the new "Collect Seaweed" interaction. If a sim has recently obtained Seaweed from a fishing spot, they must wait before they can collect more!


Compatibility Updates - "Any Sugar"

All items that require "Sugar" now have an ingredient requirement for "Any Sugar". This is for future compatibility with custom sugar/sweetener alternatives. 

You will still be able to use the SCCO "Cup of Sugar" as an ingredient. 


Custom Recipe/Harvestable Compatibility

I have added all new recipes and harvestables by the following creators to the "Make Customs" menus for SCCO.

Yeah I goofed and missed the upload! I will fix it tonight as soon as I get home and able. Until then use the old add on files, then be sure to update them tonight when I add them. As I fixed a few minor things.

Hello, thank you for the update ! It's weird because the " SCCO Addons_ (Pick & Choose)" folder is empty !( i did exactly the same things as usual when i installed the mod )

There is something wrong with the coffee in my game. The coffee pot creates an exception the Sim cannot grab a drink and the coffees show up as blue squares. Am I the only one?

This ll be fixed asap. I have messed up something trying to get the lifestyles working for coffee. The next update of the mod will update this coffee issue.

Hello guys, i installed the new patch a few days ago and since then all of the food stalls in my game seem to sell only ingredients like fruits, vegetables...but no food at all. Have someone experiended similar problems?

I haven't had any issues with the food stalls. However now my odd jobs come up blank. There is always something.

Hello! IDK if anyone else is experiencing this but coffee machines dont work anymore for me with this update, if sims can make coffee without resetting they cant pick up a drink from the machine. I tried removing all mods except SCCO and im still having this issue :(

This is being fixed, as I have said in a previous comment. Some of the custom coffees stopped working for some reason.

I appreciate it! Patreon doesnt work well on my computer and navigating comments is difficult as sometimes they wont load for me! Hello, It seems that Lens Truffles (puddings) have disappeared from his section. Do you know how I might get them. They use to show up, but now they do not. I really like these, do I need to update something.

Yes, you still need the custom menu and Andrew's crafting enabler. As his recipes are not listed in scco customs menus
