She-Ra is more like Wonder Woman. I didn't want another She-Ra. I wanted to create a new character to expand the MOTU universe. Look at Superman (DC Comics). The 'female versions' of him are numerous. There's Superwoman (Earth-1 & Earth-3), Power Girl, Luma Lynai, Supergirl, Matrix, Cir-El, Laurel Kent, etc. I see He-Man & She-Girl as akin to Superman & Supergirl. Similar, yes, but also very different.
