In the Black Swan AU I had the chance to show how an innocent soul can become evil. "When I look at you, all I can see is the White Swan" In canon, she's genuine, caring, thoughtful- but what if in another dimension would exist something that triggers the evil part inside your heart and empowers it... until it completely takes over of your mind and body? Knowing Toga as a Villain which transforms in others by stucking their blood, Hatori had this terrifying fact characterized in her head. 

But what if she just didn't wanted to face her own dark side and rather manipulated her own thoughts in a way to give this dark side someone else's face? 

The day came when she couldn't think clear as the final show was about to start. The face of Toga glitched as she encountered her in her own room, starting to reveal who she really was all along. Her dark side. Which she killed- as soon she saw her, out of despair because she slowly started to believe that she got rid of it. The moment she killed her dark side, Hatori also killed the illusion in which she was keeping it away from her. That is when she realized that it was starting to manifest itself in her own body, taking over her mind and transforming her to the Black Swan.

Or was even this dark side an illustration to begin with?
