I hope you all had a great Halloween! With the end of Halloween marks the end of my first month as an official content creator! I honestly didn't expect to get this much support in my first month and I'm really thankful for everyone that pledged, or considered pledging, despite my currently very small body of work. It's given me a lot of confidence in myself, which in turn has been driving me to learn and improve even more.

Moving into November, I will likely change my Patreon payment option to "pay upfront," rather than the current pledging system it is now. This won't affect you if you intend to stay pledged going into next month, but will be something to consider if you plan on temporarily un-pledging or haven't pledged yet but are considering it.

I originally set up my Patreon without pay-upfront enabled knowing that this can be abused but hoping people would be considerate enough to not do so. Unfortunately, I was wrong about that. Over a quarter of pledges I received in my first month were canceled before the end of the month, and the large majority of those were $5 pledges that were canceled within hours of the pledge. Mostly, this points to people that wanted to access the download folder without paying, but I know that it's also possible that some of these people just aren't aware that they aren't charged unless their pledge lasts until the next month. Regardless, my current financial situation is too fragile to allow myself to be taken advantage of in such a way, so I feel like it'll just be easier for me if pledges are payed upfront.

In other news, I seem to be on track to have the HTML5 version of Whitemane's Inquisition available for testing in a day or two. Unfortunately, this is mostly just the HTML5 version of the original game and won't yet have any of the new scenes or content that I'm working on.

I feel really bad that I haven't had much in the way of new content to share since my Nurse loop several weeks ago. It was very very important to me to ensure that I could carry on with my work beyond the discontinuance of Flash at the end of the year, so I devoted several weeks just to learning HTML5 and converting Whitemane's Inquisition to that format. Unfortunately, that didn't leave me with much room to draw or animate, which I know is what you're most likely here for. So while I hate that I wasn't able to give you much new content in October, it was probably for the best that I adapted my game now in preparation for new content additions than to have to leave it in the cold after Flash gets discontinued. Fortunately, I think I'm quite comfortable working with HTML5 now and I'm hoping that you'll be able see the results of that very soon. If all goes well, I won't have to worry about any more technical distractions like that and can spend November focusing solely on making new content for you to enjoy.

Im glad you successfully migrated from flash! Don't feel bad for the lack of content, securing the technical aspect is already a lot :D
