Hmm...it's soothing, but also melancholic. If it wasn't so close to Christmas in the story, I'd say it was for a rainy day. Maybe Dieter sees them and just knows he has no chance?

this is such a beautiful track! i already feel myself getting emotional and i havent even read it haha (sidenote: the return of music for chapters has been so nostalgic to me and reminds me of earlier chapters! its a really lovely touch and adds a lot to the experience imo!)
