To clear up the confusion. The sneak peek posted IS NOT ALL of next week's episode. It's the last bit of 218 that didn't make it on the site because of file complications. It will be instead included with 219 which is a separate episode on its own (hence the other piece of music I just posted).

Appreciate you and all you do. I’m sorry you’ve had to deal with so much bs with the uploads and technicalities of it all. I know you said this time it was your bad for having 3 songs in an episode, but please don’t blame yourself. I follow other stories with super long episodes and complex music (I think one ep had like 4 tracks once) and there weren’t any errors at upload time. So, I just don’t know what’s going on over there. You’re a creator who wants to make an experience for your readers and tell the story your way and there is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to when others can. I’m so glad I joined Patreon so that I can show support more closely and let you know that you’re appreciated for all you do. The fandom can be wild sometimes but just know you have plenty of readers who have your back and will follow you for as long as you choose this path, on any platform.

Webtoons, known within the creator community, is notorious for favoritism so they will treat/market one story/creator better than some. That's just the reality of the industry. As for the Fandom. the comic got marketed with the worst ads possible from the beginning so I've come to accept it is what it is lol Also: I ain't got no buffer episodes in a long time nor season breaks and with hundreds of comics to take care of, the team has less time to troubleshoot when I'm turning everything in on a week to week basis 😂

Girl, I remember those ads and the posts for ILY from the official WEBTOON accounts💀 Talk about fanning the inferno back then. For that whole period even as a reader I had to really step away from fandom. Can’t imagine for you as a creator (I write fanfics and keep my comments disabled because I just can’t with people.) Readers couldn’t even have discussions or in depth analysis about plot without someone making it about ships. So frustrating for many of us lol. Thankfully I’ve found a smaller circle to dissect all the juicy things you weave into the story. But yeah, you’ve been going nonstop for what feels like two years? Gosh has it been so long? 🥹 Makes sense the buffers are gone. 😭 Favoritism sucks but I’ve read a bit about it. Another creator I really admire was told to cut their series short. It breaks my heart. Wish there was more we could do for you guys.

Yeah no joke I'm still doing therapy because of it 😭 Don't know if I'll ever be comfortable on social media again or even re-download the Webtoon App (will probably be a while). I'm in a much better place now than I was last year and the years before and I don't want to go back there again.

Already looking forward to this week. Man, I remember how nuts it was and am glad it's nowhere near as bad anymore, except for a few miniscule pockets here and there. They never should have put that on you, or pushed you in a direction you weren't comfortable with. Your evolution as an artist and author us nothing short of extraordinary, so do not ever sell yourself short. I'm so proud of you. 😊❤️

The most important thing is honestly your well-being. You NEVER deserved any of the bs that happened. I am happy you’re doing better. Social media is the pits. Gets worse every year. Lots of platforms refuse to do anything about it because discourse keeps people coming back. It’s depressing tbh. As for Webtoon, I can’t blame you. I avoid the comment section. I leave feedback each episode since I don’t know if that matters for their metrics. They really confuse me with how they measure engagement. I also comment again sometimes when I reread which I do a lot. I’m going to cry if they convert ILY to daily pass after it ends tbh. It’s horrible for going back to check for context and clues or just reread as a whole.

I don't know much about how Daily Pass works but you won't have to worry about navigating that after ILY ends! There will be other ways to reread :) (also I need to catch up on the pdfs lol)

Happy belated birthday Quimchee!! Thanks for all you’ve done with this fantastic comic. I’m sorry that you’ve been given so much trouble for so long but just know you’ve got so many supporters that have your back! I’ve been reading this comic since I’ve been in middle school and ILY has been such an experience that I’m glad I’ve been able to grow up with. Everything you write and draw is nothing short of a masterpiece! Thanks for such a fantastic story and I hope you’re taking care of yourself !!
