- Reflection 1 - Depends on the Medarot but usually the most detailed eyes look like they're made of a glass like material that hides robotic detailing. Add a new layer and set it on normal while using the brush tool at 0% hardness to put the white color. This is the first of many reflections used to make the eye shape stand out more.
- Shadow 1 - This shadow mostly has the same function of Reflection 1: make the eye shape stand out more. Add a new level and set it on multiply and then use the same brush setting as Reflection 1 but with a more dark shade of the eye color. It's really faint and it's the only example of soft shading in the entire pic.
- Shadow 2 - First layer of detail for the "pupil". New layer, set it on multiply and then use the pen tool. Medarots have a really distinctive "pupil" shape, so to get it right i had to search for a lot of references.
- Shadow 3 - An additional pupil shadow to make the entire detail stand out a bit more. Add a new layer, set it on multiply and then use the pen tool.
- Reflection 2 - This is actually a detail that should be worked on after the next step because it's just the flat eye color in the same shape of the eye reflection to make it stand out more. It's on a layer set on "normal".
- Reflection 3 - New layer, set it on normal and use pure white.
