Anyone else having a problem watching the episode? I’m using safari on an iPhone 11 Pro, and the site gave me a “this file is too large to open in your mobile browser. Please use MEGA Mobile app for unlimited file size” pop up. So I signed up for the free version of the app on my phone and iPad, now it's giving me a “your queued download exceeds the current transfer quota available for your account and may therefore interrupted” window. How are you guys able to watch the episode?! 😭

Having episodes like this for me is not the reason I subbed. But it'ts nice to have. HOWEVER. I am not a big fan of the MEGA.nz solution. If I am not at the PC, I prefer watching TT and other YT content on my bigass 4K TV. Screencasting from a mobile device is also just a half-baked method. So personally a private video on YT would be a better solution.

The Mega service is pain in the ass. I've been trying to figure out how to download the video but failed because the file size is too big for my browser(Chrome) to download. I've tried downloading few times and now I've reached download limit for my IP. Pretty frustrated now.

You probably need the MegaSync downloader that Mega keeps peddling. Unfortunately Chrome's cache can only hold so much data. Also yeah, Mega wants you pay to download more than ~5GB every so many hours. If you have a VPN (probably even a free one), you can pause the download, turn it on, and then resume the download again. This may only work with MegaSync, not sure though. Actually, I just looked. Chrome should be able to download 4.81GB pretty easily unless you're in incognito mode or Chrome has changed somehow. Not sure what else to say because I don't really know what could be causing it. Either way though MegaSync makes things more convenient if you end up using Mega a lot.

Thanks a lot man. I was indeed using incognito mode cause I didn't want them to grab my cookie, but maybe it was the downfall. I even installed their proprietary software on my virtual machine, which I quickly realized that they're trying to drag me toward rabbit hole of dark pattern and make me pay. Anyway I used python script to download it which worked flawlessly. I really hope the boys find a better way of sharing exclusive videos. I really believe our privacy and time matters and shouldn't be forced to pay extra money to be able to download what we've already paid for.

lol I don't understand the problems everyone is facing. I downloaded it with no issues. you don't need premium accounts. just use a download manager that splits the file into chunks while downloading. I use Jdownloader which is really reliable for me.

Sorry for the long post, but I just need to say this... It's been over a week since this episode was posted and (surprisingly) nobody has mentioned, but the way this episode is presented is appalling. They could've at least shown how the works mentioned in the podcast can be obtained legally, or if they can't, contact the artists for some kind of blessing, give a shoutout to the artists' site/twitter account/patreon etc. Without any context like that, it might appear as though Trash Taste promotes pirating (and alas, people have posted links to the scanlated sites). Although the term "Doujin" is used extensively in the episode, technically, there is only one Doujin (self-published) work (the Oreimo Doujin). All the others are commercially published works, and artists make a living off them. I won't say the podcast jeopardized the artists' livelihood, but the bois have addressed in the newest episode that we all need to respect the artists. Where's the respect in this episode?
