Hi everyone!!

What was going to be a two video project seems that its going to be a three video project. I managed to get the marbles sorted and to display the time but marbles are marbles it seems and they get stuck here and there when I try to change the time so I'll need to make some "minor" modifications to the clock so it can actually tell the time.

I also need a whole bunch of marbles and most probably will need to make it go faster if I want to be able to tell the time minute by minute but that seems like a minor issue compared with the marbles getting stuck everywhere.

As always I love hear your comments and suggestions and maybe some sanity talk so I don't go too far down this rabbit hole.

Thanks!!!

Nice! You know, now that you are drawing numbers pixel by pixel you don’t need to use 7-segment characters, you could use other typographies

Great progress! Just a thought, why not try to further isolate the sensor section with a cover to block out the ambient light? Currently has the reflector to show empty holes, if you made the fins separating the sensors more circular to encompass top and bottom as well as extending the reflector mount towards the elevator to more effectively block the ambient light, should open up options in regards to sensor choice. I also agree with the above, have two sets of gates & tracks with a splitter, will allow you to only have to empty the min slot instead of filling the whole 'display' except on the hour.
