Lets try this again.

Now that the movies have made us experts on the source material, lets see if they get it right in Percy Jackson and the Olympians! This Disney+ series apparently has the author of the books on board, so Micah & I are hopeful we’ll finally understand why everyone is so dang passionate about this demigod.

If you’re interested in reading the books, heads up there are a FUCK TON of them 😂 here’s a guide (you don’t have to read all this, just thought it was cool!) There are 3 series so far in the Percy Jackson universe. The TV show is based on Percy Jackson and the Olympians, so you only have to read those books to understand the show. Percy Jackson and the Olympians includes: The Lightning Theif Sea of Monsters The Titan’s Curse The Battle of the Labyrinth The Last Olympian The next series gets more mature in content, but still has a middle school audience. It’s called Heroes of Olympus Heroes of Olympus Includes: The Lost Hero The Son of Neptune The Mark of Athena The House of Hades The Blood of Olympus Next, there’s a continuation on the original series; Percy Jackson and the Chalice of the Gods. The two books that are being released later this year are also a continuation of these books. The most recent series is The Trials of Apollo Trials of Apollo: The Hidden Oracle The Dark Prophecy The Burning Maze The Tyrant’s Tomb The Tower of Nero Finally, there’s a standalone book called The Sun and the Star, which is a book written about a side character in the Percy Jackson universe. There’s a FUCKTON of books, I’m still making my way through them, but they’re very good! They definitely get more mature and darker with time, it’s super cool! (Sorry for nerding out lmao)
