Lets try this again.

Now that the movies have made us experts on the source material, lets see if they get it right in Percy Jackson and the Olympians! This Disney+ series apparently has the author of the books on board, so Micah & I are hopeful we’ll finally understand why everyone is so dang passionate about this demigod.

Cracked me up that you guys had no idea who played Poseidon. He is played by British actor Toby Stephens who is the son of Maggie Smith Aka Professor McGonagall in the Harry Potter films

woohoo!! So ready to see you guys finish the season!! When it comes to the pacing of the show, I personally haven't felt any problems with it, but I can see where people are coming from when it's a complaint. There are showrunners for this show! (Jon Steinberg and Dan Shotz). I can't blame you for thinking there aren't any because all the Marvel Disney+ shows basically don't have any showrunners. Also Poseidon is played by Toby Stephens! Definitely a lesser known actor, but I feel like he's perfect for this role. I guess the reason he was revealed in the way that he was is less because the actor was a big reveal, but more because the character of Poseidon himself was a big reveal, if that makes any sense. Can't wait to watch you guys watch episode 8 later tonight!

also, i know you mentioned persephone a lot in this because of Rosario in the movie. Obviously she's not in the show and that's another thing the movies did wrong (shocker!) But the craziest part of them adding Persephone into the movie is that this book/show takes place during the summer time, they're literally at summer camp, and like the most common knowledge of Persephone is that she only spends the winter in the underworld, and during summer she's allowed to go home to the real world. It was always so crazy to me how the movies genuinely just did not give a fuck about that part of basic greek mythology LOL

Continuing my agenda of bringing up the Black Sails crossovers because they have the same creator, he plays the main character in Black Sails and in my opinion gives one of the best performances of one of the best written characters in modern television
