Woah! This movie was one of the formative movies when I was a kid (I was born 98 but saw it young). It always scared me lol, but I couldn't get enough of it.

Guys this was such a treat. I definitely cried. I also cackled every time E.T. fell over or ran into anything. There’s something about the clunkiness of the practical E.T. that literally HITS harder comedically, you can’t do that shit with CGI! And the perfect combination of the Spielberg imagery coupled with the swells of the Williams score hit me in the feels just as hard as E.T. hit the floor, holy shit. 10/10. (And you unlocked a core memory with WEHADABABYITSABOY)

this is my first time seeing this movie as far as i remember im sure i saw it as a kid but most important story i have related to this movie is that my sister was about 5 when i was born and when she first saw me after i was born she said i looked like e.t

This has always been my #1 favorite movie. My brother and I had the 20th anniversary DVD set when we were kids (in it there’s a scene where E.T. takes a bath) and we would call it the bubble version when we were little lol.
