This movie is a true nightmare before Christmas, thanks not only to the early motion capture technology used to bring countless Tom Hanks to life (or something vaguely resembling it), but also because there's just a bunch of random scary shit throughout for no reason??

I grew up with the book this movie was based on and most of the stuff in the movie isn't in the book. It's basically just a cute nice trip to the North Pole.

So excited for this!! One of the first movies I ever saw in theaters, my mom snuck little bell ornaments with my sister & I's names on them into the bottom of our popcorns and I relive the Christmas magic of that memory every time I rewatch

Oh, this brings back memories! It was the only Christmas movie my family owned on VHS but despite watching it probably every year i only remembered the hot chocolate scene and the bell. BTW the instrument the vagrant ghost plays is called a Hurdy-gurdy
