Jill is back for another childhood fav... or is it?! A Simple Wish is sort of a fever dream and maybe should have remained in the dark corners of our memories. Tis a far, far better thing that I do now than watch this movie ever again, am I right?

here's a fun fact you didn't know: Mara Wilson stated that the production of the film was a very hard time for her because of the recent death of her mother. She claims to have some regrets over her behavior on the set, describing her mindset as "being in a bad place". To this day, she has little recollection of making this film due to the depression she faced following the loss of her mother. She even says that she should not have been making a film at that time.

Francis Capra (the brother) was also in Kazaam with Shaq who also makes wishes which is a coincidence since Mara makes wishes in this too and Martin as well, and in real life, he has no hair and looks different now

that lady named Boots is the actress Amanda Plummer who is Honey Bunny in Pulp fiction who acts crazy at the bar, so seeing her act like a dog makes sense that she is crazy and committed to the role
