Ok but Heimerdinger actually sucks!! What kind of ancient planning is this?? Make improving the health & well-being in the Lanes/Undercity the 1st priority of the new tech and use that achievement as a cornerstone of your tech’s worth- the Council doesn’t know it’s good & won’t care if they think you’re ‘experimenting’ on the lowest class. If there’s resistance dangle the carrot that a bigger crop of healthier workers is needed for greater econ status like the gates!! He talks a big game about protecting humanity but *he* prioritized the same new trade policies that are fattening the Council’s pockets!! He has to know the extent of human greed AND where Viktor’s health problems come from!

All the music was written specifically for the show and the scenes they were in and artist were asked to sing them later on. WOODKID was given a list of the songs and was planned to do one but asked to do the one in this episode because he liked it more and thought it was a better fit for him.

Alright so to clear up some of your questions. Jayce and Caitlyn were never dating. Caitlyn's family had practically taken in and vouched for Jayce and his mother when they arrived to the city, so Jayce and Caitlyn are more like a brother sister combo. Sky is the female lab assistant that works with Jayce and Viktor. And I also thought you'd be interested to hear that the show did not use mocap, it's all hand animated.

Okay so those little fur balls that heimerdinger is walking around with is called a poro they are pretty much like a little animal in league thats cute like the ewoks in star wars or those weird penguins in the new trilogy. That guy who gets beaten the fuck up by Silco and sells out Vi was the guy Vander saves in episode 1 where he says the line about "Not fucking with the man who pours the drinks". And about a cinematic release Riot also said they are working on a new season of arcane along with other shows and possible live action adaptations
