Saints!

Well I guess I'm officially watching Shadow and Bone now, huh? A lot of folks said it picked up as it went on, so let's find out whether or not that's a bullshit lie.

Talon Stanley

Nobody could have possibly imagined how excited I got when Nina and Matthias came on screen this episode! Explain to me why everyone's plotline is more interesting than Alina's. The Crows, Mal, Nina and Matthias, and even the general.

Someone on the Discord probably already answered your questions, but we saw Nina in a few earlier episodes. We first saw her attempting to meet with the Conductor, but she got kidnapped by Matthias and his crew to be "put on trial" at the ice court for being a "witch." Then we saw her on the ship a few times. So, "the witch" being Nina wasn't supposed to be a surprise. Just the fact that she was the spy sent by General Kirigan.

Also, the stuff with Inej killing the guard was significant because her faith is really strong. She has never killed someone before because she sees it as a sin when clearly Kaz and Jesper don't care as much. I am noticing how both times she killed have been to protect Kaz..... I'm just saying.... In other news, I feel like Alina used to have a big o'l crush on Mal, but now Mal has a big ol' crush on Alina. Sorry, I'm taking up so much space in the comments lol
