Jeeeeeeeeeeesus Christ.

The only things I knew going into Amazon's new superhero series Invincible are that it's animated, it's for adults, and it has a stacked voice cast. Otherwise I avoided everything about it once I caught wind that folks were diggin it, and so did Mike & J of We Watched A Movie! As fellow fans of all things fucked up, I brought them in just in case this show was really for adults... and boy were they the right choice for this marathon.

Buckle up. Or don't. This show doesn't care.

I will be very next week disappointed if you guys don't realize that Robot is Zachary Quinto, as a side note Rick in this episode was voiced by Justin Roiland with what I assume is his normal voice.

I dont know if you know of walton goggins(hes in a few things with Danny mcbride and some quinten tarentino stuff), but hes never really voice acted, yet he kills it in this show

Rick is Jonathan Groff. Justin Roiland does MOTHAFUCKIN DOUG CHESTON and one of the teenagers at the end digging up immortal

Now the question becomes: do I watch the next two episodes first, or do I wait to watch next Monday? I'm dying to find out what happens but I also weirdly feel like it'd be cheating on you guys.

Damn it, I know I recognized his voice while on my first viewing, but forgot who it was cause they were talking over it, I also confused them because one character is named Rick and one was voiced by Justin Roiland aka of Rick and Morty fame.

Not sure if you ever figured it out about the mummy, but when Invincible and Omniman were flying over the desert, Mark flew to low and created a dust/sand storm that ended up closing the door to the chamber of the mummy. But who knows it might show up in season 2. Oh! And this episode was as far as I remember the best look at Atom Eve's symbol, it's not crossed over, it's like those rings that goes around an atom, but it does look crossed out when it's not in a closed in view.
