Birthday Boy's choice!!!

I turn 30 years old today, and this is the first time that my birthday has fallen on a Friday since we started releasing commentary tracks in 2013, so I figured it would be fun to record some tracks for my own work over the years!

Now, if you'll be so kind as to indulge me...

For those that don't know, PMI is just one of a few projects of mine from the past decade and a half. PMI has been the most successful and of course I love it, but I think the one that has meant the most to me is Nyctophobia. What began as a haunted house on Long Island in 2010 slowly evolved into a wild immersive theatre experience that ran through 2016 in NYC.

While I would love to return to that world in the future, for now all we have is the past...

Before there was Nyctophobia, there was The Black Woods. When Kevin Spellman and I met at the ages of 11 & 13 respectively, we immediately bonded over our love of all things Halloween - especially haunted houses. Around 2004 or 2005 we started volunteering at a local charity event called The Spooky Walk, and then in 2007 and 2008 we were trusted with our very own exhibit that we put together after high school and on weekends with our friends. Luckily I documented the entire process of creating this exhibit each year, as well as the first two years of Nyctophobia in 2010 and 2011, and these videos are some of my favorite things I've ever put on the internet.
