To Eric's question about why people had less of problem with the historical revision in this versus The Greatest Showman, I think it's just because of who it is. To see a bunch of POC pretty much reclaiming US history like this hits the ear less tone-deaf than the beautiful mess Showman is.

if you need a reason to watch it again, pay attention to the lighting. when Hamilton is in control the lights are all circular cause he moves so fluidly through life and for Burr the lights are more angular/square because he's more hard on himself.

I think there is less criticism for Hamilton because the main characters are played by people of color. So for people of color to be portraying people who were racist is like a big fuck you to them

ERIC this is so late but I have to say it after asking if Hamilton without Lin Manuel Miranda was worth it. It was WORTH IT! Oh my gosh! There was so much visible spit in the air and I cried at least 5 times. Beautiful. Most of the cast was different but they were all great, however I preferred certain cast members to previous members and vice-versa. Also, the amount of self control I had to exhibit for Hamilton’s (Miguel Cervantes) line delivery of “I was at the constitutional convention” was INSANE.I wish I could have recorded that or that he delivers it the same way every time and there’s footage because I just about died. I don’t think he even said “constitutional convention,” because he played it so giddy/overly excited that it came out as a squeal and he was jumping up and down like a small child. That shit sent me.
