It's so weird to me the angle this show is taking with Clay; he sucks so bad but he's also clearly mentally ill and needs serious help? And his friends are mad at him for it (which I get and doesn't excuse his behavior), but for a show that talks a lot about preventing suicide and school shootings by talking to your friends, what a weird shift

my school has done a "simulated shooting exercise" and they didn't tell us about it so we thought it was a real, and middle schoolers and up are now taught about how to dress a gun wound in health class and once a week in PE. (In the event a shooting takes place. It's sad that this episode was so accurate )

This episode hit way too close to home. I was in HS a year ago and I remember how strongly shootings like this were on my mind. But I feel my school was better prepared than this. We had protocols and everyone knew them. It's depressing how common this is in America.

I had active shooter training at my job and staying and hiding is statistically the worst thing you can do. You gotta run or fight. But fleeing doesn't make for stellar high stakes scenes.
