This new series Outer Banks has been in the Netflix Top 10 for weeks, if not months, but I haven't heard a single person talk about it in the real world. Curiosity got the best of me, so I decided to check it out and WOW! Not only is this a super entertaining show, but these are easily my favorite commentary tracks in a long time.

Adventure. Romance. Missing dads. Everything you could hope for in a Netflix series, Outer Banks has it in spades. This is truly the ultimate quarantined summer escape!

For the full experience, make sure you have a hat and a solo cup ready at all times, and be prepared to learn a brand new dab that I created.

I wasn’t interested in this show but it ended up surprising me! The first 3 episodes made me sleepy, probably because the warm colors throughout the show, but after it picked up on episode 4, it was too much fun. This season benefited from the commentary tracks because it was especially easy to bounce back and forth between the tracks and the show.

really loved the commentary tracks for obx s1! though i enjoy the show i probably wouldn't have rewatched it without them. these were also the first solo tracks i've watched on patreon and idk if it's because of the show itself or bc you were alone but ngl you being less distracted and less likely to go on unrelated tangents made it more enjoyable for me lol. i hope to watch more solo pmi tracks in the future!

Eric, I like the idea of setting season 2 in the future. But just jump 10 years, so 27 year old John B can still play him.

I liked that it was 10 episodes. 8 would've felt too short in my opinion and like you said it gave everything time to properly come together. Also, excited for season 2!

the idea of them being all older for s2 is so sexy but you already know netflix can't have that bc they gotta have the sexy teens! it's what the people want! but story wise......30 something year old john b with millions from the gold he took coming to fuck ward up is beautiful

Eric, I gotta say, I also wasn't into the Stranger, I loved how excited you were about it but it never picked up for me. This show was better while still being totally dumb but in a fun way. LOL And I'm fucking stoked for what's coming up next! #gotigers

I just finished watching Outer Banks for the second time, this time with the commentary tracks, and I loved it. It added a new level of enjoyment to the show for me and I always wore the hat whichever way and did the OBX dab too. Great series!

It would have been amazing if when the dad calls them and tells them to turn around for the sake of his daughter, if John B said "I'll turn around if you confess" and then the dad does to protect his daughter. That would have been the ideal one season wrap up for me...

On the whole push start car thing. You need the key to start the car but it will stay running even without the key. So as long as you don’t turn the engine off, you’re good. Loved this series! Such a good show!

I don't know if i would of enjoyed the show half as much if i hadn't listened to these tracks and for that i thank you! also being locked in that van by your self during covid must have made you lonely because you were loving the sexual tension and so was I!

Ok so I avoid commenting (because they will always turn into obnoxious ramble essays) but I just want to be a tiny bit sappy and let you know how much I love these outer banks commentary tracks. I watched the edited S1 video on youtube and decided my first me-present after finishing my undergrad(yay) would be getting patreon just so I could re-watch from the pilot to the end with you lol. I've binged them (it's literally 8 am after an all nighter finishing the last few episode of S1) and it's been the best way to let go of anxiety and have some fun, these tracks are awesome and hilarious. So thanks :)
