I’m fucking SCREAMING, is the premise of this show really based on the story of the goddamn Pied Piper??? A man named Pfieffer was hired to get rid of something messing up the town, the smell, and when he did it, the adults refused to pay him so he stole their kids? I’m LOSING IT

For some crazy reason I want to set you guys straight. Dewy DID kill Cassandra, he admitted it AND he had the gun. Ok, the black kid, homeless kid, he slept with the girl who became a nurse and he thought that's who he wanted but then when Ali almost died of food poisoning he realized he actually loved her and at the hospital they(boy and big eyed girl) kinda got to an understanding that they weren't going to work out and after that he started being more open to Ali about his feelings. I mean I think it flowed and made sense the first time I watched it, maybe I'm wrong. Deaf boy ISN'T the dad! Pregnant girl confided in him and he offered so that she wouldn't have to deal with who's the daddy drama. I can't believe you know fucking GRETCHEN'S name and no other character!

Charlie

why tf am I excited for season 2

If know this isn’t like a big deal to y’all but this show is literally every political science majors dream to unpack😂 These teens are suddenly placed into what political scientists call “the state of nature” in which no laws, no rules, and no authority exists. And what happens in the state of nature? People are selfish, reckless, and fearful of everyone else. Fighting, chaos, looting, etc. But all humans have a desire to leave the state of nature in search of the conveniences and security that “society” provides. Very quickly, these teens form the most basic tenants of a government. Laws/Rules are created (by Casandra and Allie) and these rules are backed and enforced by an authority (The Guard). People slowly start to take on roles that benefit society. There will always be people who have discontent for the way society is run, especially if they would fare well in the state of nature (the rich, the powerful, Harry and Campbell😂) .Basically this is an updated version of Lord of the Flies. I CANNOT wait to see what happens in season 2.

I hated every second of this show. I didn't find there to be a single likable character and the whole thing just seemed pointless. Literally the only scene with any meaning to it in all 10 episodes was the final one.

Well. All we can do now is hope that another streaming service picks the show up, or that Netflix decides to continue after the pandemic.

Mia Wilson

Hannah Koster
