First time watching this film since it first came out in theaters and I was a kid. Never saw Final Destination 3-5 (was too terrified to watch the rest), so I plan to watch the commentaries with you guys!

In that scenario that Eric brings up, it's clear what happens. The wind blows and knocks the candle over, starts a fire. You reach for the first thing you can to put it out, the teddy bear. While batting at the flames, the bear catches on fire and you kick the table the knives are on, causing them to fall right into your knees. You stumble around until you trip, mind you still have the burning teddy bear in your hand, fall into the tv and get electrocuted, while the fire spreads from the teddy bear into the wires of the exposed tv, causing your house to explode.

What I love about this film is how much of a nightmare they make just driving on the highway look, not even the accident, just the actual normal driving. It was an amazing way to create atmosphere that I think modern movies would try to but wouldn't be able to pull off
