Commentary | Saw VI (Patreon)

Perhaps it's just because Saw V is such a snoozefest in comparison, but I think Saw VI is the best of the post-trilogy sequels. (I can't quite say "post-death" sequels because... whatever, you know what I mean.)

Saw IV carries more weight because there are more original characters still remaining, but maybe that's what allows Saw VI to breathe. It moves quickly, it gives Jigsaw a more interesting motive for testing characters, and it has a solid twist at the end! That's really all we want from these movies, right? RIGHT?!

The worst part about Saw VI is that when it ends... all we're left with is The Final Chapter waiting for us, so do your best to make this one last.
