Hey guys,

by now you are probably aware that today is April's fools. Usually I have a short meme animation prepared, but this year I don't have anything. We also have Easter coming up and I am not planning anything for that either.

In fact, I haven't done anything but Officer On Dick since the start of the year. In January I started my monthly short animation, but I just wasn't into it and put it on ice.

I am not sure what is it about OOD, but I really don't feel like doing anything else. I guess because it's such a massive project (threesome with story etc.) I don't want any distractions? But also I really enjoy working on it and I think it's my best work yet.

So I figured I should probably ask how you feel about it, do you miss the monthly short animations? Aren't you getting sick of seeing the same project every month?

You're right, I'm getting sick of the same project every month. As a matter of fact, I don't even enjoy futa anymore. Time to move on methinks... (obviously april fool's sarcasm)

Your work is so good, I don't care what you do.

Don't miss it. Honestly wasn't super jazzed on the short stuff like d.Va ones (still good!), don't get me wrong there was some really hot stuff in them & the animation was top tier but always felt too brief. But whatever you are happy & want to do is always the right answer, and I know whatever that is will always be great. Also Mass Effect rules!

Whatever prevents burnout

In general, focusing on one big project is fine, if people are interested in said project. The "down the rabbit hole" wasn't really something I was interested in, but the Mass Effect one is something I'm absolutely interested in, so I'm willing to wait to see it through.

I like your current project even if my all time favorite is still Corporate Training. I want to see more of Rebecca, but I can easily understand that you prefer to work on the project you like the most. Forcing yourself to work on something else is not the best thing to do. You could get annoyed, losing motivation, etc. So please, do what you like, and I'm sure we'll still love your work. Actually, I have no doubt about it!

Personally I would love to see the Mass Effect project, but I also wouldn't want you to get burned out doing it as well, so if throwing in something else helps you out, then I'm all for it

I missed the Monthly Animations; If you're burned out on these big project animations it is good to have rest maybe start up sometime again XD

If you're in a groove, stick with it. You'll get done quicker.Thank you for the updates

I liked the monthly animations but if they're a distraction then I'm fine with them no longer being made.

The net is filled with shorts. As animation tech is getting cheaper and easier, everybody- and their cat, are making shorts of indifferent quality. High end, detailed, longer scenes such as "Officer" are still special and worth waiting for.

Yeah I guess that's what I am worried about. But then again, the subscriber numbers are going up so I guess it's fine?

rikolo

Thank you :) And I might do more Corporate Training in the future 👀

rikolo

Well weirdly, right now I don't really feel like doing anything else.

rikolo

Well like I am saying I am kinda focused on one thing right now.

Kluk

Thanks to you :) and this is great news!
