Oof. So I spent about 3 days making this animation and then 3 more days fixing some stupid bugs. In the end I was able to sort of work around them, but it's not perfect...

Yep, that would be the bug. This is the best I could do, most annoying part is that it looks normal on preview and just fucks up during render, so each time I adjusted something, I needed to wait 20 minutes to render couple frames and see if it helped.
