As a quick reminder for anyone who needs it, Super Lesbian Animal RPG is coming out this December!!! You can find links to the store pages so you can add it to your wish list on Steam or itch.io via the game's official site, slarpg.com.

Now then! On to the news for the month.

The Trailer

I'm working on the main trailer for the game! It'll be done Soon. I'm excited to finally show a more of what we've been working on, and hope it conveys just how far we've come since the demo.

The Patreon Beta

As a reminder, as thanks for years of support, everyone who's ever pledged to this Patreon at the $5 tier or above prior to the release of the early Patreon Beta will be getting a copy of the game with Beta access. Since we're about to enter the last full month before the game's release, that means the Beta will be happening in November! Probably later in the month, because there's still a little work left to do on the game.

More details regarding the Beta will be coming soon! Now for the main event of this update:

The Prologue Comic

The SLARPG prologue comic that was promised as a stretch goal back when I first launched my Patreon is coming along very well! Today I'd like to finally share a first look at it. But before that, it's time to announce the artist I'm working with on it.

I'm extremely happy to announce that the comic is being illustrated by none other than Kyle Smeallie! Kyle is the author of the sci-fi comedy adventure comic Softies, a personal favorite of mine, and we've also known each other for years. He even contributed one of the most beloved and iconic enemy designs to SLARPG (Most of an Egg). So it's probably no surprise that he was my first pick for this.

As a reminder, I'll be coloring the comic myself, but for now here's a black and white sneak peek of the first page, in which Claire and Jodie have vanquished a slime:

It's been really great seeing this script I've been sitting on for years finally get brought to life by Kyle. I'd estimate the pencils are currently about 80% done, and the whole thing's looking fantastic. We can't wait to share the full thing in color this December!

...

That's all for this month! Next month's gonna be REAL busy. As always, thank you for your continued support! The game's gonna be in everyone's hands before we know it.
