I'll try to keep this one short. So! Some progress has been made on the game for sure, but I've unfortunately had to prioritize other work for the last few weeks for the sake of financial security. (Another stimulus check sure would be nice right about now.) Between that, the general state of the world, and a recent health scare with Anthony (he's fine, don't worry!), progress has been slow this month. Your continued support through these nightmarish times is, as always, deeply appreciated. I wouldn't be able to make this game without it.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the country, our beloved composer Beatrix Quinn has recently wrapped up work on some of my favorite tracks in the game, including an incredibly hype battle theme and a romantic track for an important scene with Melody and Allison. We're very excited for y'all to hear them at some point. But of course, life has complicated things for Bee, too, with her having to temporarily evacuate her home in California due to the wildfires. She's safe and sound, and at this point she's just waiting for the all clear to head back home, but I'm not exactly expecting her to pump out the jams during a time like this.

In lighter news: tomorrow at 5pm EST on my Twitch channel I'll be starting my live playthrough of Paper Mario: The Origami King! The first three Paper Mario games had an immeasurable impact on me as an aspiring game dev, so I'm sure I'll have many thoughts on this one. If you aren't able to view it live, my streams are archived on my personal YouTube channel.

And yes, we now have more SLARPG Twitch emotes (which are also available in my Patreon Discord server):

Oh! And one last bit of fun news: SLARPG is now recognized as a streaming category on Twitch! No more streaming it under the RPG Maker category. This will come in handy when we do our own developer commentary stream of the demo at some point in the future.

That's all for this month! Stay safe out there, y'all.
