UPDATE: thanks to our coder we were able to make a fully playable web version of the VN you can now play the game on any device that supports HTML5!

After 8 months of sporadic development the new alpha is complete, of course this is still an alpha and there are a lot of things that needs polishing but nevertheless this a big step up from the last version released in september last year. among the new changes and additions you will see:

>improved sprite artwork in full color
>more detailed WG animation for Veronica
>some minor changes to the script
>additional sprites
>a new save feature

>a dialogues log feature in case you clicked too fast and missed something
>new supported resolutions, 1080p is here and for those with a high res monitor a 1440p version is available as well
and more

this update however is only available for patrons at any tier level, you can subscribe here https://www.patreon.com/anastimafilia

if you're already subscribed you can download the alpha from itchio with this link HERE

I'd like to thanks all the people who helped me put this together and specially patrons who last month reached the patreon goal to help me further develop this VN, there will be more updates in the future so keep an eye out!

Looking good, can't wait for future iterations

I just finished playing the new build and I certainly enjoyed it, just like last time. It felt nice to see some color (I hope the sprites eventually get fully shaved), and the transformation sequence was spot on! Now, for the script, it still needs a proofreader/editor to fix typos, edit some of the dialogue and trim the fat (no pun intended) for a more compact read. The start falls especially guilty of this, as it feels longer than it should be. Conversations drag on from being too repetitive or dialogues feeling stiff down to robotic. I took a screenshots of some segments, underlining the mistakes present in them and how I'd fix them. Have a look it you want: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1y0yLKRAN9GzlbKPiGzjObdgaZm341RHC?usp=sharing I have to say, I find it curious you chose Godot for your game's engine, considering others are just more practical for VNs, like Ren'Py. It wouldn't bother me that much, if you could go back to previous dialogues and there wasn't a very limited amount of saves. Although, maybe you went with Godot because it would be harder to reproduce things like the transformation sequence on Ren'Py? Anyway, keep on the good work!

thanks for playing it, your feedback is dearly noted, I didn't want to see it before because I thought godot could've been more flexible to work with but now I notice there are better engines for VNs, sure you can make things work with godot but it takes longer to make work while other engines simply have those same feature already baked in, I think I might switch to renpy or something similar and as for dialogues go the whole english script was proofread by a native english speaker but If you want to help there's always room for voluntary work
