Love that you guys are covering this show. It’s a recent watch for me and I’ve been absolutely loving it! The names are of the clans and characters can definitely get confusing especially because the characters go by so many different names but you guys will get it. I’m not sure if you guys noticed because it seemed you were a little confused. This episode was actually entirely a flashback episode. At the end of last episode it said it was going back to 20 years earlier. Sometimes it’s hard to tell when it’s a flashback because Mo Xuanyu (the body that Wei Wuxain was summoned into) looks almost identical to Wei Wuxain when he was younger😂. The majority of season one is a flashback about Wei Wuxain’s life before he died excluding the first episode and most of episode two.
