Shoutout to AP!! Starting off the series on episode 3!  Really fun so far!

Yo! Gintama first came out in 2003. It got an anime a few years later in 2006 and ended fairly recently back in 2019. Lots of referential humor, like Stash was saying, and you'll see a ton of references to popular series such as Naruto, Bleach, DB, One Piece, HxH, JoJo, etc... fourth wall breaks, jabs at the anime staff and author, as well as references to Western/Japanese pop culture stuff... Most of it will definitely go over your head though which makes it a hard series to recommend to people. Aside from the comedy, Gintama has some dope serious moments/arcs too with amazing character development, emotional scenes, and fantastic fight choreography, so hopefully y'all will get to see that in the future... Gonna stick with this one for a while! Really happy to see you liked it! 😅
