Rouge Deku is kinda cool

I'm honestly so excited to be finally getting this part of the story animated. Before the season started, I didn't even think we'd get this part until next season. I also never expected Deku's Smokescreen to be purple. I really liked that a lot. Like how you guys mentioned, I also enjoyed how Deku remained calm and logical during this fight, making strategies on the spot. His true quirk was always being able to anaylse situations, sometimes overthinking it like you said lol. The significance of Uraraka mentioning it being April when Deku left UA is that it's the start of the Japanese school year. In other words, Class A are now second year students. Since S1 Ep4, a full year has passed. Crazy how everything that's happened so far has been in such a short time span. A nice little fun fact: Deku's new mid-gauntlets is a callback to the first MHA movie where Melissa Shield (The daughter of David, All Might's US-based sidekick) developed full-gauntlets that could handle Deku using 100% punches 3 times. These ones can't handle that but are much more durable in retun.
