Sooooo 2nd time ever that I watched this episode and y'all got me for real. Every time Joey starts tearing up, then I start tearing up. Some bullshit man lmaooooo

Best love story in shonen genre, hands down. Not romantic love, but love nonetheless. The tears come from both happiness and sadness. Happy that they found each other; sad that they can no longer enjoy each other's company. The sheer beauty of this transient experience is something else to behold.

Reading the manga before watching the episode was absolutely evil. Just straight black pages with the little speech bubbles. "Komugi, are you there?" Meruem dying while repeating himself when throughout the whole arc he told everyone he wouldn't repeat himself. I'm such a crybaby, I've never gotten over these two. It's always been my favorite little love story. Togashi is truly amazing. In my own little reality, they're still just playing Gungi together forever.
