There is something weird about how they decided to translate the title of the movie because koe no katachi literally means the shape of voice, but they decided to go with a silent voice instead, and then at the end of the movie they showed the fateful translation.

Man the fact that they used an actress that was deaf in the english version makes this movie feel more real💔💔

KyotoAnimation’s productions are always so beautiful, they made Violet Evergarden too, one of my all-time favorite animes (definitely my favorite short anime). Just gorgeous animation
