Idk if Lindsey would be interested to see but it’d be cool to show her some scenes of the game compared to the show unless y’all end up playing it but idk about that since Lindsey gets sick

With what Lindsay was saying about why they didn't add the spores to the show (which makes a lot of sense for a TV show compared to a game) it may be why they added the fungi communication method instead. To me that aspect adds a lot more tension to a scene than just seeing a bunch of spores floating around. Also that beginning scene might be a way of doing world building for a TV show rather than a video game as that felt like the kinda thing you'd find in either a note or a voice recording pickup in a game to learn more about the world.
