I prefer the echoey room. It does make it more natural. So correction on just one part: Minato actually only sacrificed his soul for the Reaper Death Seal. He didn't sacrifice Kushina's soul so Kushina would have had to die of natural causes(impalement by Kurama's Claw as well as having the tailed beast taken out of her) unlike Minato so it's plausible that she hung around a minute longer after Minato's soul already got sucked out. In the original flashback, it ends when Minato seals the Nine Tails into Naruto and then it transitions to Naruto and Kushina having their final good-bye but we never see the life leave their eyes. I agree with the rest of you said.

I like this arc but I have too say I much prefer the second half and I don't think it's that far fetched to say that the leaf experimented with hashirama cells especially because from the main story it seems like the elders have alot of say in the things the village does. The village also isn't some utopia that does nothing wrong after all there's the whole thing with the Uchihas, then with starting wars in the land of rain to benefit from it which is what pain had stated. So I'm sure it's not out of the question that they did experiments and quickly realize it wasn't worth all the lives lost so shut it down. I do agree that the third is shown to be alot worse during this arc but I feel like he's still being himself just more exaggerated. Which then makes his actions look dumb. Anyway idk like I said I like the second half way more the stuff with Yamato was just weird.

Orochimaru did not just want the Sharingan. He wanted a main branch Uchiha body (the one's most closely related to Madara and Izuna in genetic terms). Orochimaru's immortality jutsu allows him to assimilate genetic traits from host to host, so a succeeding body would be fully capable using implanted Uchiha eyes ie evolving them and not suffering chakra exhaustion (remember despite being so powerful Orochimaru did not have anything like the chakra capacity of Jiraiya. One of his goals was to increase that, which as you know Kabuto eventually succeeded at). Tobirama cannot spam Hiranshin like Minato could. If he could have, Tobirama would not have had to die when he did. Kishimoto has never clearly answered why. Fan theories are that due to being taught Uzumaki fuinjutsu by Kushina, Minato figured out how to do Hiranshin way faster/better/easer/whatever than Tobirama.

Just on the echoey room... just put some of the sound foam on the ceiling and hand "wall tapestry" style posters on the wall. So long as they are cloth and loosely hung, they will break up the echos.

There isn’t a novel based on this. It’s pure anime only. This isn’t consider canon, and by canon I mean the 700 chapters, the actual novels and The Last movie.

Precisely. Kushina was never sealed into anything. Some of her chakra was infused into Kurama's seal but that was it. He mistakingly described Minato not Kushina being sealed.
