Man... can’t believe Lindsay hates One Punch Man... Also Lindsay, do you know what makes you like FMA and FMA: Brotherhood more than other battle shonen like Naruto and Demon Slayer? (I like FMA more as well, just curious of your thoughts).

Man thats a really good question. It may partially be because it was the first show like that I had seen and also the longest show I had seen at that point so it was the first time I really got to go on a full journey with a set of characters. I love the concept of equivalent exchange as the main basis for the powers in the show its a bit more unique than just punching people but not as abstract as straight up magic with no limitations. And also the power scaling never got completely out of control which I really appreciate. I also just really like all of the characters in both 2003 and brotherhood. I think a lot of the character motivations felt very real to me and a lot of the emotional moments really hit the way they were supposed to which hasn't happened as much in other shows I've watched. (not sure if its because Ive seen more stuff now or what) I also think the story felt very real to me and I think the bond between Ed and Al was so strong but never felt fake or forced in any way because it completely made sense based on their backstory and what they went through as kids. Idk I could probably go on for a while but those are some of the main reasons
