BOLDcast Avatar The Last Airbender Book 3 Eps 20 & 21 UNCUT REACTION!

Avatar was the only american property that was closest to anime in terms of aesthetic, visual tone, asian influenced themes and writing. Its narrative depth was its greatest asset coupled by its emotional authenticity. It also had amazing cheorgraphy bringing its action pieces alive on screen. If you do ever consider watching Korra, its basically avatar the last airbender but more suited for an older audience. The comedy for example is not quite as childish. Anyways solid end to a fantastic series and lets just forget the live action exists at this point lol

One of the best endings to a show period. Aangs decision to spare the firelord really wraps up the show in the most perfect way. Throughout the entire show we are reminded that the avatar is made up of their past lives, but at the same time we see that each one is their own person. The avatar is a great analogy for all humans. We are all made up of those around us and those who lived before us, yet we are all our own person. When asking for advice from past avatars no one was able to give Aang the answer he was seeking. Yet Aang did not lose who HE is to become "the avatar". This series truly is special and will forever stand the test of time. I could not think of a better kids show and really hope in the future we can get more shows on this level. This show does themes of war, hate, redemption, love, and hope better than 99% of media let alone kids shows. Really awesome reactions and I look forward to korra whenever that will start. I think is special that the directors decided to end the show playing "The avatars love"

Aw man its so nice to see you guys finally watch this epic finale. Really one of the most wholesome, satisfying and earned series finale of any show thats out there in my opinion. Which is one of the reason why its my favorite show in general I would say. I'm really looking forward to you guys checking out Korra! I'm actually really excidet about it ^_^ Also happy to hear that you guys are gonna do a podcast about the show. So much greatness ahhh. Also one thing I wanna touch on that you guys might talk about on the podcast aswell is that I just cannot get over the the fact how amazingly they ended the show by giving Aang this moral conflict of having to decide what he's gonna do once he is in a position in which he has the chance to kill the Firelord. Its not like in many other series where you get the feeling that the inevitable fate of a certain villain isn't truly in the main characters hands or there is an easy way out for the hero to defeat the villain. Here its like a genuinely hard topic for Aang to think about and he's in conflict with himself to the point that all of his friends and his past lives tell him to do it. Its just such an amazing lesson and inspirational idea they implement here I feel like. Stay true to who you are and your ideals and eventually you will be able to overcome certain obstacles and find solutions to problems where people might have never expected to find them. Love it.

Nikolai Stoykov .

Would've loved to see Ozai firebending without the comet, Aang defeat him without the avatar state, except the energy bending at the end, and the white lotus could've ended the war decades ago, but that's why fanfiction exists. And always thought Aang in the avatar state in this final fight reminded me a lot of when Yugi duels with the Millenium Puzzle, his other older and taller persona comes forward, just like Aang here looked older, taller and got more jacked. Looking forward to Korra :)

The wisdom of the Lion turtle empowered Aang to take bending for good. I just thought about how weird it would be that the island took Aang as if no one else should know of this knowledge. I love your reactions Lindsay and Carson! Look forward to the podcast!

And it’s his own ideals and his refusal to compromise on them that are ultimately what allowed him to gain control over the Avatar state when it was basically on a furious fight-or-flight rampage.

The final Agni Kai is one of my favorite moments in animation. Agni Kai’s in general, and their relationship with the Fire Nation’s culture and customs, as well as being a particularly central theme in Zuko’s character personally, are one my favorite pieces of the Avatar world. Not to mention all the banger OSTs. Still just a fantastic show and such fun reactions. Excited for the podcast!

The smile that Zuko shows when he first see's Mai again is one of my favorite screenshots from the series. He looks so happy
