Nice discussions! About 1:00:26, back in season 1 Aqua mentioned the fact that the line between his former life and his current one was slowly blurring. I like how he clearly seems to dissociate from it now with the wording "I can't even begin to control this guy's violent emotions". I also liked the parallel you made when you referred to Aqua and Ruby as being the two sides of the same coin (Aqua being on the murder/mystery and Ruby being on the Entertainment industry side) but what about when Aqua switches to the Entertainement industry aspect? Next episode you see her discussion with Minami and how dark the conversation gets. Anyway thanks for the episode!

I definitely agree with some of your isekai points. The fact that Frieren is just a straight up fantasy story was one of the many reasons it was a breath of fresh air for me, though it helps that it's just a stellar show on pretty much every front. Also, I loved the sound design for these episodes. The panels from the manga of Goro telling Aqua "Don't you dare have fun" or something along those lines were really chilling thanks to Mengo’s art, but it was just elevated with the creepy scratchy effects they added to his voice imo. Doga Kobo continues to knock it out of the park.
