I think Aegon and Viserys absolutely loved each other, Viserys loved his family more than he loved himself, although I don't think they liked each other. Both Aegon and Rhaenyra are very clear reflections of their father, they constantly try to deflect from it by being rebellious but they display very similar traits, in the books Viserys is described as really fat by the time he passes away and as time passes both Aegon and Rhaenyra also keep gaining weight.

They also made a point to show how pretty much everyone revolving Viserys constantly tried to gain his attention by all means, Daemon only cared about Viserys opinion, Rhaenyra much the same, Aegon, when he is first showed as an adult, says how much he tries to be good enough for him and Alicent. When Viserys died they all lost the only thing that held them together, their love for him.
