FYI on Zoro: The sensing/cutting power that Zoro used in Alabasta isn't something that he can do all the time. He was only able to tap into it because he was close to death. That particular ability will be expanded upon later on in the story.

The Six Paths are a good addition because it's one of the ways for Oda to balance out the stakes considering that, barring a few exceptions, the only people who have been real threats to the Strawhats so far are people with Devil Fruits whereas everyone else has been somewhat fodder-ish.

Everything about this part of the story gets so good. I can't remember when exactly but possibly around the 260+ mark, the music will start really amping up too.

That's fair.... but not quite related to my comment. What I'm talking about is generally the OST music in the show which I seem to recall gets kicked up a notch around then. It's been a while though so can't remember when precisely it is noticeable. I think it coincided at the time with the release of one of the OP movies during the next arc and the show starting to use the movie's soundtrack on top of what we already had, and includes one of my all time favourites.
