Skypiea is definitely an A1 arc (looking past the pacing issues) and an A- one despite them. In the Manga it's easily closing in S for me. Love the extravagant parties at the end of the arcs, just happy vibes and chills. And of course all while Enel sets off to the moon apparently. Very interesting input on the whole sun thing there at the end. Man I love this show.

Yeah turns out Enel (Eneru), was also dreaming and believing in a magical land in the sky all the time too. Just like for the people on the grand line the sky islands are a magical land, for sky people it is the fairy vearth (moon). He (besides his massive god complex and that he is trying to enslave people) is very much like ruffy, willing to go all the way for his dreams. Two sides off the same coin.

I think Luffy and Usopp at the end were hinting that they spotted Eneru flying off hence "how could you go sleep after seeing something like that" whereas Nami and maybe most of the others didn't notice. Because of how the focus travels up the bean then moves to Eneru on Maxim flying off. That has always been my understanding of that scene anyhow.

I'm pretty sure they were just talking about not wanting to leave without the gold. If Luffy saw Enel he almost certainly would have gone to stop him. That would be like after having the feast in Alabasta, Luffy seeing crocodile just walking away outside of the palace, there's no way he just ignores him.

I love this arc so much and it delights me any time i remember that eneru canonically is on the moon. i hope he’s having a good time there.
